 How to Register For ZAAD
 
  • Take to passport size picture
  • Visit any sales office and request for ZAAD Registration
  • You will be issued a 4 digit start key after registration which is necessary to activate the ZAAD Account.
   
 How to activate ZAAD Account
   
  • Dial *888#
  • Enter start key which you received by SMS.
  • Enter New 4 PIN digits. Confirm the PIN,
    (This PIN will be your password [KEY FOR YOUR ACCOUNT]).
   
 How to Check ZAAD Account Balance
   
  • Dial *888#
  • Enter your 4 digit PIN
  • Enter 1 (Show Balance), you will get the current available balance.
   
 How to change the PIN
   
  • Dial *888#.
  • Enter your 4 digit PIN
  • Enter 7 (Manage Account)
  • Enter 1 (change PIN)
  • Enter new PIN
  • Confirm the new PIN
   
 How to change the language
   
  • Dial *888#.
  • Enter your 4 digit PIN
  • Enter 7 (Manage Account)
  • Enter 3 (change language)
  • Enter 1 for Somali
  • Enter 2 for English
   
 How to block the Account in case of Lost or Theft
   
  • Dial *888#.
  • Enter your 4 digit PIN
  • Enter 7 (Manage Account)
  • Enter 4 (Lost Report)
  • Enter the lost mobile number
  • Enter the lost mobile PIN; your account will be automatically blocked until further info.

 How to Deposit Cash into ZAAD Account
  Go to The nearest ZAAD Store and deposit you cash money. You will receive SMS confirming the amount deposited.
Note: Please confirm the account deposited in you account, [confirm balance]
   
 How to withdraw cash from ZAAD Account
 
  • Go to ZAAD Agent (store).
  • Dial *888#
  • Enter your 4 digit PIN
  • Enter 3 (Withdraw Cash)
  • Enter Store ID
  • Enter Amount you want to withdraw
  • On success, you and the store will receive an SMS confirming the transaction.
  • The Store will then give you the cash.
   
 How to recharge your Mobile (E-Voucher)
   
  • This feature enables you to recharge your mobile.
  • Dial *888#
  • Enter your 4 digit PIN
  • Enter 6 (E-Voucher).
  • Enter 1 ( self recharge) to recharge your mobile.
  • Enter the Amount
   
 How to recharge your friend's mobile (E-Voucher)
   
  • This feature enables you to recharge your friends' mobile.
  • Dial *888#
  • Enter your 4 digit PIN
  • Enter 6 (E-Voucher).
  • Enter 2 ( friend recharge) .
  • Enter the Amount

 How to send money to ZAAD Customer
 
  • Dial *888#
  • Enter your 4 digit PIN
  • Enter 2 ( send money)
  • Enter 1 (ZAAD customer)
  • Enter the recipient's phone number
  • Enter the amount
  • You and the recipient will receive an SMS confirming the transfer.
 
 How to send Hawala? (To Non-ZAAD Customer)

Note: Use this option if the recipient is not a ZAAD Customer.
 
  • Dial *888#
  • Enter your 4 digit PIN
  • Enter 2 (send money)
  • Enter 2 (NON-ZAAD Customer)
  • Enter 1 (New Tranfer)
  • Enter the receiver's full name.
  • Confirm to pay net amount or not.
  • You will get the transfer code which you need to inform the recipient, so that he/she can contact nearest store to withdraw money.
    Note: if the recipient is a TELESOM mobile subscriber, he will get the Transfer Code automatically.
   
 How to check the Hawala status that I have sent?

  • Enter your 4 digit PIN
  • Enter 2 (Send money)
  • Enter 2 (NON-ZAAD CUSTOMER)
  • Enter 2 TRANSFER STATUS
  • Enter the TRANSFER CODE
 
 How to Buy Goods with ZAAD
 
  • Dial *888#
  • Enter your 4 digit PIN
  • Enter 4 ( Pay Bill)
  • Enter the Merchant ID
  • Enter the amount
  • Confirm to pay net amount or not
  • You and the Merchant will receive an SMS confirming the payment.
